How to prepare and use your enema kit – using our Stainless Steel Enema Kit as an example.

1. Before first use

• Remove the clamp and pull or unscrew the tip from the hose.
• Slide the clamp onto the hose and reattach the tip.
• Squeeze the clamp so that it is closed.

2. Prepare the kit

• Attach the hose to the connector of the stainless steel container.
• Attach the tip of your choice to the other end – the kit includes three tips.

3. Use

1. Fill the container with body-warm water (see Choosing the right enema liquid).
2. Hold the tip over the bathtub or toilet, open the clamp and let the liquid run until it flows evenly and there are no more air bubbles in the hose. Then close the clamp.
3. Lie on your back and pull your knees towards your chest – or lie on your side if you find that more comfortable (see The best position).
4. Insert the tip about 3 cm. If you feel resistance, do not push further.
5. Open the clamp slowly and start gently. A light abdominal massage can feel pleasant.
6. Hold the liquid for as long as it is comfortable. Then carefully remove the tip.
7. After a few minutes, sit on the toilet and take your time.
